Did You Know?

“Fix it in Post” is a widely expressed concept in production and in Hollywood. That phrase is now transmogrifying to “Make it in Post,” and editors are on the front lines for such jobs. “Fix it in post” refers to correcting in post production any problematic scenes that are captured on film. For example, a sound boom was inadvertently caught in a scene and needs to be removed. With all the advanced technology available today to perform magic on captured scenes, the quip “fix it in post” is heard on shooting locations more and more often.
