ETP State of California Funded Training
The California Employment Training Panel (ETP) has awarded Video Symphony a new two-year contract to provide subsidized upgrade digital media training to full-time professionals employed by California studios and production companies.
The purpose of Video Symphony's ETP contract is to help keep post-production and digital media companies competitive in today's technological marketplace, and to help diminish the flow of production work to other states and nations. Approved companies may send eligible employees to Video Symphony for 24 to 56 hours of subsidized training per student.
Video Symphony has trained thousands of California's film and video editors, sound editors, motion graphics artists and DVD specialists for industry employers -- from the largest facilities to the smallest.
Due to recent reductions in ETP's overall funding resources, there have been some changes in 2005. Changes include possible moderate co-payments by employers, and variable training schedules.
