Student Housing
Students at our school come from all over the globe to start their careers in Entertainment Post Production. Video Symphony has developed our student housing program to help with their relocation, offering an affordable and convenient residence while they are in school.
Video Symphony offers student housing at three or more nearby Burbank apartment complexes not owned by the school. Each complex is walking distance from campus, located at a distance of 1/3 mile, 1/2 mile and 1 mile.
Video Symphony does not maintain traditional college-type dormitories. Students live in 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom units in pleasant residential areas that provide nice walking conditions close to the retail amenities of Downtown Burbank. All properties offer a furnished living room and dining room, plus a stove, refrigerator and microwave. Students provide their own bedroom furniture, appliances and cooking utensils. Video Symphony has 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units and rental prices range from $725-$910 per bedroom per month, plus utilities.
Parking is available at all housing locations and at or near the school. Neither a car nor public transportation is necessary for traveling to and from school and for personal shopping, though a car may be essential if a student will be working at a distance from the school. Video Symphony is conveniently located just 3 blocks from a Metrolink (light rail) station, and just 4 miles from Bob Hope (Burbank) Airport.

Downtown Burbank
Burbank is a lovely enclave within the Los Angeles metro area, nestled against the foothills. In many ways, it is more Hollywood than Hollywood itself. Within a three mile radius of our school is Disney, Warner, NBC, Nickelodeon, ABC, Dreamworks, and a host of other music, video, film and FX post production studios, large and small.
We particularly like that Burbank is a safe town. It has been cited as one of the safest cities under 200,000 population in the U.S. Ample parking at the school is readily available. Downtown Burbank is pedestrian-friendly, and loaded with restaurants, shops and AMC movie screens. But many of our students tend to prefer the nightlife of our labs and often stay glued to their workstations, enjoying the camaraderie of fellow students and instructors who share their creative passion.

Students Work on Real Productions
Enroll in a Video Symphony Certificate Program, and you may see your name on credits, perhaps even award-winning credits.Your work might also be used on your personal demo reel to show off your creativity and skill. At the least, you will gain valuable real-world experience.
How? By working on challenging projects from independent filmmakers, documentarians, and educational program producers. Video Symphony solicits projects that our Certificate Program students can work on to acquire real-life experience on productions destined for broadcast, movie screen,or DVD. Due to our close proximity to the Hollywood production ecosystem, a wide variety of productions and producers come bidding for our students services. Some examples of projects:
