Student-Instructor Ratio
We work to create the most productive learning environment possible by consistently maintaining a 14:1 student to instructor ratio, permitting instructors to tailor training to students' specific needs.
Scheduling
Typically, a student will attend class between 16 to 24 hours a week (2-3 days) with an occasional break. We encourage students to take advantage of these breaks and schedule lab time. Students are expected to spend at least 20 hours in the "Hands on Time" (H.O.T) lab each week.
Hands On Time (H.O.T)
H.O.T. labs are additional hours dedicated for students to work on their own projects or improve their skills.
Each program lists the amount of lab time guaranteed for the specific area of study. Students who are taking individual classes (rather than a Certificate Program) receive 1 hour of H.O.T for every 4 hours of class time versus a Film & TV Editing student that has up to 288 hours of H.O.T. time to work on demo reels and their own productions.
